New SeSE Courses in e-Science Offered Autumn 2025
The Swedish e-Science Education (SeSE) are pleased to announce that a new round of advanced courses in e-Science will be available this autumn through initiative. These courses are tailored primarily for Ph.D. students from a wide range of academic fields.

- Introduction to Scientific Computing in Python
Course Dates: 1 Sep 2025 - 21 Sep 2025 (with on-campus activities at LU) - From Visualisation to Discovery: Techniques in Visual Analytics
Course Dates: 27 Oct 2025 - 31 Oct 2025 (with on-campus activities at UU)
What is SeSE?
SeSE is a swedish initiative for PhD level education in the field of e-Science. SeSE offers education in the form of academic courses for Ph.D students in fields where the use of e-Science is emerging and also for e-Science education for students in fields which are already computer-intensive. The courses are open and free of charge for anyone registered as a Ph.D student at a nordic university. SeSE courses can with separate agreements be provided as education for employees at companies (private sector) also non-academic government bodies.
