Funding through eSSENCE MeetUps

eSSENCE supports e-science research and offers dedicated funding for meeting activities such as conferences and workshops.

Guidelines

• Support is provided for activities with a clear e-science profile, in line with eSSENCE vision and focus areas of eSSENCE.
• We prioritize applications that include co-funding rather than those seeking full funding.
• Typically, we fund up to approximately 50% of the total budget for the activity, with a maximum of around 250,000 SEK.

How to Apply

The application should include a brief summary and justification of the purpose (maximum 2 A4 pages), along with a budget that clearly shows the funding needs and any co-funding.

Applications are accepted continuously during the academic terms, and decisions are usually made within two months of the application being received by eSSENCE.
