The conference gathered researchers and experts in e-science, high-performance computing, and data-driven research to discuss how digital methods can accelerate scientific breakthroughs and contribute to societal development. Keynote speakers included Paul Watson from Newcastle University, presenting “From eScience to Impact”, and Mats Holmström from the Swedish Institute of Space Physics, who shared insights on particle-in-cell simulations of the solar wind and planetary environments.

"By bringing together participants from multiple disciplines and institutions, the Swedish e-Science Academy continues to serve as an important national platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation within data-intensive research," says Erik Elmroth, Professor, Department of Computing, Umeå University.

The program also featured poster sessions, workshops on topics such as federated machine learning and digital humanities, and satellite events held in conjunction with the main conference.

Closing the event, Paolo Bientinesi, Director of HPC2N, reflected on the strong engagement across scientific fields:
"Such an exciting event, bringing together researchers from a wide range of disciplines and areas, all sharing the ever increasing need for computational methods, computing & storage resources, and software solutions!"
